Wall mount an eero without blocking its vents
Quick answer
You can wall mount an eero, but the mount must leave its vents and LED uncovered, and it should not be metal. eero says metal mounts can interfere with Wi-Fi. The safe design is an open cradle that grips the edges and leaves the top and sides bare. The eero 6 and 6+ share a footprint near 99 x 97 mm. The Pro 6E is bigger at 139 x 139 mm.
An eero on the floor hides behind furniture and its signal pays the price. On the wall it breathes and reaches. But eero has real rules for mounts, and most people have never read them.
eero's own rules
eero supports wall and ceiling mounting, and its help pages set three rules. Keep the unit right side up. Leave the vent grille and the status LED uncovered. And do not use metal mounts, because metal near the antennas can interfere with Wi-Fi.
That last rule surprises people. A printed plastic cradle passes it. A steel bracket does not.
Which eero do you have
The eero 6 and 6+ share a footprint but differ in depth by about 4 mm. A snug cradle needs to match your exact model. The Pro 6E is a much bigger unit and needs its own cradle.

The open-cradle rule, every brand agrees
Mesh routers cool themselves with open air moving through vent openings. Every maker that publishes mounting guidance says the same thing in different words: leave the unit in the open. So a good wall mount grips edges and leaves faces bare. Never a box.

Placement still beats hardware
eero's best-practice spot is out in the open, up off the floor. High on a wall clears couches, shelves, and TV cabinets that soak up signal. Pick a spot near a power outlet, keep the cord reachable, and let the vents breathe.
