This articulated flexi shark is a fun 3D printed toy that moves and bends just like the real thing. Based on a refined remix of a popular design, this version features a cleaned-up top surface with grooves removed from the first and second segments for a smoother appearance and better printability.

The key improvement in this design is the reinforced tail connection. The segment just before the tail fin has been thickened on the sides to prevent breakage during play—a common weak point in articulated toys. The bottom has also been flattened to ensure proper bed adhesion and consistent printing results.

This flexi shark prints in place with no assembly needed. Just remove it from your build plate and it's ready to wiggle. The designer recommends printing at 120% scale for best results, producing a more durable toy with satisfying movement and flexibility.
