This Friendly Articulated Slug is a fidget toy engineered for reliable 3D printing. The segmented body articulates smoothly, making it an engaging flex toy that doubles as a stress-relief fidget. Unlike the original design, this version features an integrated brim that connects all parts at the base, eliminating adhesion failures and ensuring consistent first-print success.

The slug was developed and tested extensively on Prusa MK3S+ using standard PLA configuration with a 0.4mm nozzle. The brim simply peels off once printing completes, leaving a finished articulated toy ready to enjoy. For best results with standard nozzles, consider reducing extrusion multiplier to 90% in your slicer settings; users with 0.25mm nozzles can print without adjustment.
