This upgraded vent ring is a direct cooling upgrade for Ender 3 and CR-10 3D printers. Building on the original design, the Vent Ring 2 features re-engineered airflow and rounded edges to improve part cooling performance, especially on overhangs when printing PLA at higher temperatures.

The redesigned wider gaps direct air to stay just below the nozzle, providing more targeted cooling exactly where you need it. The standard height is comparable to the short original, while the tall version sits 1.2mm higher for older Ender 3 models—though the short version works on both.

Installation is straightforward: you may need to loosen your hot end fan housing screws to properly level the vent ring. Remember not to over-tighten the screws during installation to avoid damaging the fan or printed part.
