This duct fan mod is a direct replacement for the original CR-10 cooling duct. It extends the nozzle length and repositions the airflow angle to direct cooling air exactly where it's needed—directly under the nozzle tip—rather than blowing upward onto the nozzle and heated block.

Installation is straightforward: simply unscrew your original duct and replace it with this mod using the same mounting points. The improved geometry delivers more effective part cooling during printing, particularly beneficial for models requiring precise layer adhesion and fine details.

Note: This mod is designed for CR-10 models with 3D-printed original ducts. Newer CR-10S, CR-10 S4, S5, and mini variants ship with molded plastic ducts that may not be compatible. Check your current duct material and airflow direction before ordering. To test if you need this upgrade, home your printer, raise Z to 100mm, run the cooling fan at 100%, and check whether air blows under or onto your nozzle tip.
