Your 3D printer spools stay locked down tight with this simple clip. You attach it in one quick move and your filament won't slip off while you're printing. The design grips reliably on most spool thicknesses, from thin flanges to thick ones.

This clip uses a narrower gap than earlier versions, so it holds better without being too tight to damage your spool. The bottom edges are beveled to reduce that first-layer imperfection called elephant's foot. Print it in PETG for extra grip that lasts longer, or use PLA if that's what you have on hand.

The design comes in two gap sizes. The standard 1.8 mm gap works great for most spools. If your spools are extra thick around the edges, you can print the wider 2.5 mm version instead. One clip does the job for all your future filament rolls.
